John Reed Fox

My goal is to find my own voice in the process of creating furniture that is functional, decorative and elegant. I strive for work that is both technically and esthetically honest and straightforward and which is informed by tradition but not bound by convention.

Donna’s cabinet is named for my wife who has put up with the struggles of a craftsperson for all these years. The “asa no hanna” patterns on the doors of Donna’s Cabinet gives me the heightened opportunity to use light, shadow and texture to create interesting rhythms across the front of the piece.
